SIEGES EVEN Paramount SPV (2007)
Light prog rock with nods at both AOR and in places U2, a complex and stylish mix.
Under the strumming there are intricate guitar, bass and drum lines and Asia like vocals.
In fact Asia and Yes fans will love 'Iconic', even with its 80s guitar pop feel.
The heavier guitars to 'Where Our Shadows Sleep' give a 90s Eloy feeling to the sound too.
Throughout the album, the focus on songs rather than over playing give a singer/songwriter feel to the prog rock; no bad thing but it does dull the effect in places.
A strong and pleasant album that should do well.
