PATRICK MORAZ Human Interface Time Wave Music (2006)

Patrick Moraz

New album from this multi instrumentalist Moraz, and very keyboard based; lots of keyboard runs, sampling, electronic orchestration, programming etc.

Opening with 'Light Elements' the title track we get lots of sweeping runs; there's elements of Mike Oldfield and Ron Geesin in here, and in 'Beyond Binary' you can hear a touch of Keith Emerson too.

Very pomp this set, progressive and a little poppy. In places a little too experimental, in others too TV theme like. The cello gives a Beatles touch. Some good melodies too, and the songs are well worked.

Two bonus cuts were recorded live in 1987.
