EX-WISE HEADS Holding Up The Sky Hard World (2007)
Or floating in the sky, for this album is pretty much ambient. Featuring Porcupine Tree bassist Colin Edwin and Henry Cow multi-instrumentalist Geoff Leigh there's flutes, programming, rhythms and noises aplenty.
This is a Marmite situation - you either love it or hate it so there's little point going through each track by track, but there's elements of progressive tripping and odd bursts of decent melodies, but that's ambient.
Mood inspiring. Good background but far from coffee table.
