BURN Global Warning Formula One Records (2007)
Some quality melodic trad metal here, no nonsense. Nods at bluesy metal, and at pomp; check out those keyboards on opener 'Shadow Of The Satellites'.
This new line-up gels well, and it’s the first album in a while; the original drummer sadly died in motorcycle accident and the original guitarist retired from music at the start of the decade.
The Stackhouse brothers Barney (keyboards) and Marc (bass) have kept the light burning brightly if sporadically.
'Dangerous Times' features some good vocal harmonies, and 'Forgive Me' shows a polished AOR tint of trad metal. One of the more radio friendly tracks.
The melodic metal is in the same direction of Praying Mantis in recent years, thoroughly enjoyable, classy, polished. Enjoy
