TYGERS OF PAN TANG Big Game Hunting - The Rarities
Sanctuary CMQDD1196 (59:06) (62:25) (2005)

Sanctuary continue their excellent treatment of the Neat and associated catalogue of NWoBHM bands, and while many of those bands were second rate, they get top treatment.

One of the better bands but not quite premier league, were the Tygers, who recorded some excellent material for Neat and MCA, and even an album with no original members, and this set rounds up demos, singles, album tracks, and finishes with some live tracks recorded in Europe in 1999.

The Tygers brought John Sykes and Jess Cox to fame, and a complicated history gets explained by Cox himself in the notes.

Some genuine rarities, but the demos and live performances are a little rough, making this perhaps too much for any bar the most serious fan, but excellently packaged.
