S.I.N. Equilibrium Metal Heaven 00010 (2005) S.I.N.

Young band Somewhere Into Nowhere (S.I.N.) were formed by guitarist Deddy Andler and singer Jason Marks. This five piece play power metal that’s pretty heavy, and interweave keyboards and slower moments in well.

This is their second album, and heavier than the debut. One track even features a duet with guest Michael Voss (Silver).

Some tracks have a melodic nod (think the heavy end of Preying Mantis), others the power metal of Marshall Law. It is well produced, with nothing standing out too harshly.

“Walk Away” is a softer number, incorporating some AOR, but with some nice harmonies in the chorus.

Heavy and enjoyable.
