Mike SILVER Heaven In Mind Cherry Red CDBRED298 (2006)
New album from this long serving singer/songwriter. The twin acoustic guitars and bass, with occasional piano and woodwind make for better listening and better songs than most singer songwriters. Whimsical, light throughout with good folk lyrics.
Silver has a long history, signing to Elton John’s label in the early 70s and playing with Dory Previn. This is as good as anything as he’s done and typical of the acoustic work the likes of Sting had occasionally done.
