KROKUS Fire And Gasoline Live! (2-CD) Reality Entertainment RYE113 (2006)
Looking at the info in the booklet, this live set recorded in 2003 (with guitarist Fernando Von Arb still in the band) looks licensed 2004, so not clear if it's a first release or a re-release.
Either way, it's a great live album, featuring a polished Krokus on form playing a mix of new and old material
The set kicks off with the classic 'Heatstrokes' and follows with a very heavy 'Mad World', featuring a touch of AC/DC with a decent metal solo over the top. Sleazy boogie metal and rock'n'roll that the crowd here appear to lap up and rightly so.
'Flying Through The Night', 'American Woman', 'I Want It All' and 'Bad Boys Rag Dolls' all follow.
Disc 2 continues with a similar intensity, and most will know the closing classic 'Bedside Radio'.
Fun, metal and a little clichéd in places, it's just good to rock out to.
