At the melodic end of heavy metal, this Divinefire have only been going a couple of years, if that, formed by Finnish composer/drummer Jani Stefanovic and vocalist Christian Rivel (Narnia). Add guitar bass and keyboards and you get a full sound.
Opener “Resurrection” is pretty classical in structure, almost operatic, while “Secret Weapon” is has more a nod of speed metal. The breaks in the power/machinegun drums for some melodic guitar breaks hint at Freedom Call. Something you can’t go wrong with.
Thoroughly enjoyable, and well worth a listen, but not quite in the premier division of this style of European metal.
