BROOKVILLE Life In The Shade Unfiltered Records (2006)
Vocalist Andy Chase is former guitarist with Ivy, who’s scored many a soundtrack along the way. A light whimsical pop opens up with “Blue Morning”.
Some decent tunes, but from a distance the songs and album appear to lack direction. There’s an acoustic nod, and the drums sound programmed.
Some carefree indie pop comes in, mixing 60s and 80s, so not for me, sorry.
