TD LIND Call Me Sinner Tell Tale Records (2008)
Follow-up to 2007's 'Let's Get Lost', an album which made my year end 'best of' list, so high expectations on this album then! The lead single 'La La Love' is great fun, catchy chorus and an instant hit on the ears.
The title track and 'Coming Home' highlight the melodic sound of TD Lind's voice as well as being both very strong tunes, both featuring some wonderful harmonies. 'Cold Heart' (also released on the CD single) the duet with Lily-May Young is another stand out particularly May's haunting vocal delivery.
Like the debut album there is plenty of musical variety and the album closer 'Miss Friday Night' sees Lind again dip into some heartfelt blues and features some excellent guitar playing. A storming way to finish of the album.
Not as 'instant' as his debut album but TD Lind has again produced a wonderful set of songs and it is about time he gets the success he so richly deserves. Grab this and his debut for some wonderful music that can match any mood.
