CROSBY LOGGINS AND THE LIGHT We All Go Home Provogue (2008)
Singer/songwriter Crosby Loggins is the son of Kenny Loggins and has grown up surrounded by the legendary artists that hung out with his dad. This has clearly had some effect as this new CD, 'We All Go Home', features 14 well written songs that are hard to pigeon hole sound-wise - if I had to give names that the album is reminiscent of I would have to include Bryan Adams, Savage Garden and Jackson Browne.
Among the highlights are opening track 'Good Enough', 'Always Catching Up', the slower 'Here She Comes' and the upbeat 'Couldn’t Save Me'. The musicianship on the record is second to none, with healthy doses of both slide guitar and piano. This is easy listening- but in a good way.
