THE ANSWER Rise Special Edition, Albert Productions (2007)
An expanded version of the band's excellent debut album released last year. The debut album is one for all lovers of rock with a 70's vibe. Songs like ‘Never Too Late', ‘Come Follow Me' and ‘Preachin' are simply superb and really deserve a listen.
The second disc adds fifteen tracks, including a few live versions of songs featured on the debut album. Added to this are a few choice covers of which Aerosmith's ‘Sweet Emotion' is simply stunning. Also worthy of a listen are ‘Keep Believin' and ‘I Won't Let you Down'.
The Answer, along with Glyder, Wolfmother and a new discovery for me Van Tramp, have successfully melded their won guitar driven rock with the classic sounds produced in the 70's by bands like Free, Led Zeppelin and Thin Lizzy.
If you haven't got this album you have no excuse now with this added CD, and if you do have the album already get this for that same added CD!
