SEQUEL Back Perris Records (2007)
Third album from this US band who feature Todd Jensen (ex-Dave Lee Roth/Hardline/Alice Cooper) amongst their ranks. It is very 80's hard rock in sound and feel plus you can almost guess the sound of the songs from some of their titles such as 'Cherry Wine' - a great rocker with a very catchy chorus.
'The Good Stuff' is classic Warrant, complete with gang chorus, whilst 'All Right All Right' will not leave your head after one play guaranteed! 'Rock 'n' Roll' Girl' is okay, bit to derivative of say a Bon Jovi mid-tempo number.
Couple of good pop rockers on here as well in the shape of 'You Don't See Me' and 'Heart On the Line', although the ballad 'The Best I Can' is a bit of a let down, lacking a bit of power in the chorus.
Yes it is very 80's but when most of the songs are so catchy you can't help but enjoy it! Certainly beats what Warrant are doing nowadays.
