MEGADETH That One Night - Live In Buenos Aires 2-CD, Image Entertainment (2007)
Double live CD (with an accompanying DVD release) from Megadeth recorded back in 2005 in front of a very enthusiastic crowd. Dave Mustaine in his brief sleeve notes explains how he loves playing in Argentina and there is an acoustic based tribute to the fans on the second disc, 'Coming Home To Argentina'.
Twenty one tracks and plenty of classic Megadeth to enjoy including 'Set The World On Fire', 'Skin Of My Teeth' and a menacing run through 'In My Darkest Hour', along with 'A Tout Le Monde' one of the band's finest songs.
Good sound throughout with Megadeth's trademark sharp, heavy guitar riffs clearly standing out. The whole set is played with the minimum of fuss or extended soloing plus there is little between song banter from Dave Mustaine.
Essential for fans and good to see the band back at what they do best.
