The Wildhearts new single (available in three CD versions each with different songs), from a band who’ve had more hit singles than many chart acts! ‘Top of the World’ is taken from the new album, ‘The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed!’ and is a classy slice of pop rock. Not the strongest track on the album but still better than most bands’ output. On this CD single you also get a storming version of ‘Cheers’ from the TV series of the same name. This is sheer aural bliss! Great choice of cover by the band and the other tune on here, ‘L.T. D’ is a spiky rocker and the weakest of the three songs.
