THE MOTORS Tenement StepsCaptain Oi (2006)
By the times of this, the band's third album, the band were down to a duo of Nick Garvey and Andy McMaster were left augmented by Man's then rhythm section.
The music is much more synth/keys led and a couple of tunes, 'Metropolis' and the title track, are almost like West End musical numbers.
'Love and Loneliness' is a very catchy tune backed by waves of keys, whilst of the bonus material the rocking 'Crazy Alice' is a must hear. There are also three remixes of the 'Greatest Hit' album of which 'Dancing the Night Away' is the pick of the bunch.
Overall not as strong as the first two albums but still worth investigating and enjoying a very underrated band.
