The weird and the wonderful from German electronica legends...
This combined DVD/CD set features a complete visual and audio concert from Seattle 1992.
Mixing keyboard led tracks from the 70s through to the 90s, this band have been influential and groundbreaking in this style of music that crosses electronic, experimental and prog.
There is some searing guitar work too, and lots of hi tech graphics for the back drops - very psychedelic in places.
The Saxophone adds a nice touch in places, but when the music verges on ambient it’s not what you go to concerts for, and the mind does wonder somewhat. 'Purple Haze' is a surprise inclusion too.
Even though, it’s a weird and often great experience. Having the audio CD will please fans, but there’s little in the way of extras on top of the gig itself.
