THE SUPERGROUPIES Supergroupies Livewire (Cat No LW018-2) (2006)
Swedens' Supergroupies have made an album that mixes the sound of Bowie,
T-Rex and Cheap Trick- produced by Europes' Kee Marcello, this Glam Pop band
have set themselves apart from other Scandinavian Glam bands like the
Backyard Babies, Babylon Bombs and Hardcore Superstar, who all have a
punkier edge, by going for a softer sound.
'Bouncing', '75' (both written by Marcello), opening track 'Give It All You
Got' and the Cheap Trick like 'Say Goodbye' are the highlights on this
catchy debut album (there is also a cover of Madam Xs 'Come One Come All').
