The band has been around since the mid-60’s, although only
guitarist/vocalist Del Bromham remains from the original line-up. The band
is a regular on the live circuit and recently toured the UK with Mountain.
This live CD was recorded at the Robin Hood Club in the Midlands early last
year.
A ten minute medley starts the CD off including ‘Come On Over’, ‘Take It
Easy’ and ‘Houdini’. The production is very good although a few notes in the
inlay booklet would have been a nice touch. ‘Cross Country’ is a bouncy
rocker complete with a catchy chorus. Another highlight is ‘Time Machine’
with nice guitar work from Del Bromham. AC/DC fans will enjoy ‘Earth’ with
its boogie riff and the rocky ‘Years?’.
Top notch blues rock that will appeal to fans of the band and similar
bands like the Groundhogs. Worth buying just to hear the great guitar
soloing of Del Bromham.
