REO SPEEDWAGON Live Plus Castle (2006)
How many ways can Sanctuary repackage their back catalogue? Quite a few by the looks of things. This live CD, recorded back in 2000, has seen previous outings as a CD and DVD only releases. Now you get both formats under one cover!
Sadly no bonus DVD features just the concert plus the standard track selection feature. As for the concert it is a good one with band on fine form including singer Kevin Cronin sporting his new shorn blond hairstyle.
You can't knock such classics as 'Take It On The Run', 'Can't Fight This Feeling', 'Time For Me To Fly' and 'Roll With The Changes'. REO Speedwagon have always been a rockier outfit live and indeed on record, it is just that their ballads are the ones that got them airplay and chart success.
If you have not bought either the CD or DVD previously well worth getting otherwise pass as there are no new tracks or features on this release.
