PAPER CUTS Born On A Slippery Slope (CD single) Kids (2005)
Born On A slippery Slope is power-pop-punk-rock at it’s best. Take the commerciality of The Killers, add a dash of The Ramones, a healthy measure of nu metal power chords and sprinkle liberally with demonic John Lydon vocals.
The result? A surprisingly commercial and infectious offering that you’ll find yourself singing in the shower. And the B-side – Stand Up be counted isn’t bad either (although not so overtly commercial).
Paper Cuts support Biffy Clyro on their Irish December tour, with UK dates to be announced.
