NOVAK Forever Endeavour MTM (2005)
Andreas Novak, along with Mind’s Eye colleague Daniel Flores
(drums/vocals/keys) has produced a very slick AOR release. There is also an
impressive supporting cast including Radioactive’s Tommy Denander and
members of Therion.
The whole album features swathes of keyboards and samples but there are some guitar solo moments none more so than on ‘How
Does It Feel’. The duets with Martina Edoff on ‘Another Woman’ is a stand
out track along with the catchy pop rock of ‘Save Me’.
The only real drawback for me is that much of it blends into one after a few listens (bar the
aforementioned tracks) and lacks the overall feel to make it a ‘must have’
album. Still if you enjoy well produced AOR/melodic rock you will doubtless
enjoy this release.
