MOTORHEAD Inferno CD/DVD, SPV (2005)
Only got the DVD part of this revamped Christmas package that includes last year's 'Inferno' album, a DVD plus it all comes in suitably festive Motorhead wrapping paper!
The DVD is a real treat with six live tracks from the band's 2005 30th anniversary show at Hammersmith inclusding 'Bomber' in all its glory.
Then there is the video to the acoustic (now there's a word you don't see often in a Motorhead review) 'Whorehouse Blues', with cameo appearances by Rod Stewart, Liam Gallagher, Mick Jagger and a drunken Tony Blair (okay so they are look-a-likes).
An interesting interview with Lemmy and Joe Petagno, the man responsible for the classic Motorhead album covers. Finally the main feature is an hour long interview with Lemmy, Phil Campbell, 'Fast' Eddie Clarke and Phil Taylor about the history of the band. Needless to say Lemmy is on fine form as too is former drummer Phil Taylor, who appears in the same interview as the main man himself.
If you haven't got the 'Inferno' album then this DVD extra gives you no excuse now not to buy it.
