Jazz prog fusion fest from Euro string-smith...
European rock, in places verging on metal, with a complex jazz/prog angle. Two guitars, keyboards and a 5 string bass, with uptempo solos, and the odd ballad too. Five musicians, all virtuosos, with the occasional guest vocalist. Inter-track chat in Dutch, with subtitles, it's a good concert, if you like this kind of music.
Mostly gentle jazz prog rock, MOR fusion ballads, but when Coenen says they are going to get heavy, they really do, with 'Traumatized To The Bone' verging on thrash; death metal vocals included.
Various guests come and go, including members of Sun Caged.
The main show runs at 85 minutes, and there's a plethora of extras. Of the bonus tracks, there's an excellent take on Whitesnake's 'Still Of The Night' - as good as the original and no kidding.
A little different, but top guitar work and a good package.
