LYDIA Gloria Can't Dance (2006)
There seems to be an outpouring of albums from Scandinavia of late. This time from Lydia - five guys from Norrkoping, Sweden who grew up on a diet of Motley Crue, Guns 'n' Roses and Poison.
So you might expect an album with some 'edge'. But Lydia sound more like an Ah Ha tribute band who've been listening to a lot of U2 or Simple Minds.
There's nothing new here and nothing special. Derivative and distinctly average fare. Maybe OK for the Swedish market, but not a chance of success in the critically important UK and US markets.
