LEGACY (Chavis Records 2003)
The band’s line-up consists of vocalist Chris Roseberry, guitarist Jonas
Hansson, bass player Marten Andersson (LIZZY BORDEN) and drummer Stephan
Emig. ‘Troubleshooter’ kicks off the album in a Rainbow/Malmsteen vein and
starts the album of well.
‘Autumn Rising’ takes a mellower approach at the start before bursting in
with some thunderous guitar. The instrumental ‘2.4.1’ highlights nicely the
talent of the band and how well the band play together. Vocalist Chris
Roseberry needs a few plays to get used to with his high pitched vocals.
‘Can’t Remember Love’ is a laid back number with a tasty guitar solo midway
through the track.
Not a bad album, although some songs do sound similar after a few plays
but still worth a look. Will appeal to fans of old school metal who like
Sabbath riffing and Yngwie Malmsteen’s work.
