10 year pomp celebration...
Her second DVD in 2 years, this was recorded in the Summer of 2005 to celebrate 10 years of recording. The concert sees the vocalist backed by a full band of full pomp proportions.
The intro mixes 21st Century Magnum and ELP, and the rock music itself is full of thundering drums and guitar solos and plenty of keyboards too.
There's a strong element of progressiveness to the metal, and the DVD features plenty of good cameral angles and an enthusiastic crowd. Good visuals and a strong stage presence make for an enjoyable concert.
If you like Mostly Autumn but prefer it stronger and heavier, you'll love this. It's all much better than it sounds.
The DVD is a dual layer disc so you get the entire concert of 19 songs, a choice of stereo of 5.1 Surround, and some extras too. And as is common nowadays you also get a CD with a couple of tracks omitted (the CD still runs at 78 minutes). Packaging and value as good as the music.
