BABYSHAMBLES Back to the Bus - What Goes On Tour Stays On Tour (2006)
This is the second in a series of collections of what bands listen to while on the road.
So what do Babyshambles like to listen to while living life to the limit? Every thing from Johnny Thunders to Dennis Brown and everything in between it seems. It's a tempestuous journey from the Clash's Jail Guitar Doors and the Stone Roses Going Down, to Burt Jansch's Needle Of Death.
Other surprise inclusions include Belle & Sebastian (Morning Crescent), St Etienne (Only Love Can Break Your Heart) and Esger Phillips (Just Say Goodbye).
The finished release will include an exclusive version of What Katy Did Next, plus an insightful chat with the band about life on the road. But whether you're going to want to add this to your collection will depend on whether you share the band's taste.
