AGENTS OF THE SUN Monarchs Of A Fallen Society Decide (2005)
Pop rock that is not too far removed from Busted! and Blink 182; this is not your normal small label indie pap.
This is decent paced bouncy pop rock; no more so than on tracks like 'So Long'.
While there are quite a few bands peddling this sort of music of late; not that many do it this well. I am sure that the UK charts would eat up the afore-mentioned tracks and as well 'Comouflage' with great enthusiasm.
The musicianship of the lads if obvious and there is talent on show here rather than just band-wagon jumping.
Ray Dobson certainly has the vocal chops for this sort of rock. It is clear they have honed their craft over the years. 311 drummer Chad Sexton lent a hand mixing and Joe Gastwirt handled the mastering. A well put together release.
