ACE FREHLEY Greatest Hits Live Megaforce (Cat No MEGA2010)
Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley is one of those influential players that opened
up the career of many of the following generation of guitar players.
His solo albums, since leaving Kiss in 1982- and before rejoining in 1995, may
not have been as commercially successful, but did contain some classic
songs. 'Breakout', and 'Rock Soldiers' hold their own amongst Kiss' 'Deuce'
and 'Cold Gin' and Ace sung 'Shock Me' and 'N.Y Groove'.
There also two studio cuts, ''One Plus One' and 'Give it to me Anyway'- the latter of which
features several members of Skid Row.
Along with Anton Fig, John Regan, Tod Howarth and Richie Scarlett, Ace made
several good albums in the mid to late 1980's, before rejoining his former
band for the highly successful Alive Worldwide tour.
With Ace having now left Kiss again, it can only be a matter of time before
we see a new Ace Frehley CD.
