EPHEL DUATH - PAIN REMIXES THE KNOWN RELEASED IN U.S.
TOMORROW
The latest ambitious release from Italian experimental jazz metallers EPHEL
DUATH finally hits U.S. stores tomorrow, Tuesday the 18th. Pain Remixes The
Known is a deconstructed and mutated form of 2005's Pain Necessary To Know, and
looks set to cause a stir in the metal genre and beyond.
Pain Remixes The Known was remixed by the famed Italian producer Eraldo
Bernocchi who has collaborated in the past with the likes of Bill Laswell and
Mick Harris. EPHEL DUATH are currently working on a fresh new album, entitled
Through My Dog's Eyes, which is set to be a concept album in which a dog depicts
his vision of various aspects of life. This is due to be released in 2008.

SUSPERIA - OSLO SHOW ANNOUNCED & DRUMMER RETURNS TO LIVE ACTION
OSLO, NORWAY - Norwegian melodic thrashers SUSPERIA have announced details of a
one off show in Norway. The band will play at John Dee in Oslo on 2nd October
2007.
The show sees the return to live action of the bands drummer Tjodalv, who broke
his ankle earlier this year, forcing him to miss the bands European and UK tours
with WASP and Onslaught. Now fully recovered, Tjodalv is eager to get back into
live action saying "It's been a frustrating time having to take things easy and
wait for the natural recovery process to do it's thing.
When the accident happened it was like my whole world had collapsed. It was a
real disappointment to miss out on the tour with WASP and watch from the
outside. But now I'm fully recovered, I feel stronger and I'm ready to make up
for lost time"
Susperia released their fourth studio album 'Cut From Stone' earlier this year,
through the TABU label in Europe and Candlelight Records in the USA.
It entered the Norwegian National Artist Charts at Number 18
and was the Number 1 most added album on the influential CMJ Loud Rock and FMQB
radio reports in the US.
'Cut From Stone' was recorded at Strand Studio, Oslo, Norway during 2006.
The mix was completed by Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Meshuggah, Soilwork) at
Dug Out Studios in Uppsala, Sweden, whilst the production was handled by
SUSPERIA and Marius Strand.

which was the main price of a big Jägermeister contest. The band has played and

UNEARTH to film show for upcoming DVD
Massachusetts metal heavyweights UNEARTH will film their October 9th concert at
the Glass House in Pomona, California for an upcoming DVD.
Commented vocalist Trevor Phipps: "We figured it was about time we shot a real
DVD and what better place than the intimate Glass House? Ever since we first
played there in 2002 we have loved the crowds and venue in every repeat visit.
We couldn't be more stoked to return and get it on tape this time around. A
high-energy show and good times will be had by all on October 9."
He added, "The live show will only be part of the DVD as we aim to make it a
double disc with behind the scenes footage of us on tour, the band and crew
backstage, hanging with the fans, rare studio footage, band, crew and special
guest interviews, more live footage and pictures from our travels around the
world and all of our videos.
The DVD set will be a complete retrospective from
our beginnings in the basement practice space in Winthrop, Massachusetts all the
way up to present day as well as a look at what is in store for us as we
approach a full decade of being UNEARTH."

SINCE THE FLOOD announce new members
SINCE THE FLOOD has officially confirmed the addition of singer Nate Siemens to
their line-up. Siemens replaces Chuck Bouley, who left the band several months
ago. Hailing from Winnipeg, Canada, the group states that "Nate brings a new
dynamic and fierce energy to the table that is a welcomed breath of fresh air
for the band and fans alike."
Meanwhile, SINCE THE FLOOD has also added former GUNS UP! bassist Ricky Nukem to
their roster. According to the band, "Ricky is a welcomed addition to SINCE THE
FLOOD bringing a huge amount of talent and seasoned musicianship to the band."

Music Awards

The Poodles - October 1st "Sweet Trade".
"Sweet Trade" the second Poodles album is already in the warehouses ready to go
and the band are as excited as ever by the prospect of touring Europe and
bringing their eclectic mix of Glam, Heavy Rock and succulent Metal to the
masses. The band start touring as support to Gotthard in Europe on October 12th
but we hope to have a spokesman here before then with good news for the UK.

Elvenking - Support Gotthard in Italy
The guys from Elvenking are over the moon with the early reactions to their new
album "The Scythe" which was released just last week, but hope for even better
when they open their touring account for the new album supporting Gotthard at
home in December. "The Scythe" will feature heavily.
Axxis - New Album
AFM hard rockers Axxis have announced details of their new album "Doom Of
Destiny" which will be released here on November 19th. Featuring new guitarist
Marco Wriedt the 11 tracks on show will once again drive home the strength and
power of this exceptional band and their efforts have already been rewarded with
a place on the Helloween / Gamma Ray tour that calls in at the Forum, London on

U.D.O. - "Best Of" Announced
U.D.O., the German band led by legendary Accept frontman Udo Dirkschneider, will
release a "Best Of" album on December 10th on top of announcing a teaming up in
Europe with Primal Fear.
U.D.O. will also embark on a North American tour in
January/February 2008 although it's not presently clear if this will be a
package or a solo trek. The band is, would you believe, currently back in the
studio writing once again!!

Jon Oliva's Pain - In The Studio
Drummer Chris Kinder has issued the following update:
"Fifteen songs have been completed (for the new Jon Oliva's Pain album) and we
are now in rehearsals before hitting Audio Lab studios later this month. Kevin
Rothney and I will take a week apart to solidify our own ideas before spending a
few final days nailing the rhythm section to the floor!"
"Kevin and I have been writing, recording and performing
together for more than 13 years. We know how to get it done in the least
possible time, but unlike the last record (without all the stupid band turmoil),
we will be very well prepared and the bulk of our ideas written in stone."
"Jon Oliva and company have spent tireless hours recording,
arranging, re-arranging, and more re-arranging. and boy, are their ideas now
firmly in place! There is so much diversity and texture going into these songs
folks! Some of the material will surprise and some will just make you smile
knowing that Oliva's trademark stamp is alive and well. …. It's just what you
would expect from an Oliva/ Jon Oliva's Pain record."
"The title of the CD and the artwork concept are complete.
AFM Records has approved all of our ideas with great enthusiasm and we'll
release this very soon."
"The schedule of events for the next 4-6 weeks is set.
Oliva's solo gig at the ProgPower USA festival in Atlanta, and our headlining
appearance at ProgPower Europe on Sunday, October 7 are coming up. But, from
there in it's all Jon Oliva's Pain album No. 3 until we turn in the final master
at the end of November. A tentative release date is set for February 28th."

DARKANE - Nine songs ready for new album
DARKANE drummer Peter Wildoer has posted this message on his web site:
"This coming winter we will start recording DARKANE's fifth record. We have
about nine songs ready. We were hoping to enter the studio earlier but in
typical DARKANE bad luck, our studio got flooded and badly damaged. So now we're
looking for a new location for the studio and as soon as we find that we need to
rebuild the studio which takes a lot of time.
Hopefully we will start recording around Christmas (fingers
crossed). In some weeks, we'll start working on the mix of the upcoming DARKANE
DVD. I just hope the DVD will be released early next year"
DARKANE's upcoming DVD was shot in May 2006 in the band's hometown of
Helsingborg, Sweden.

Norwegian Black Metal masters DIMMU BORGIR recently shot an impressive video for
the track "The Sacrilegious Scorn" with renowned cover artist Joachim Lütke as
director. The track comes off the latest offering "In Sorte Diaboli".

video debut on their homepage beginning on September, 28. MySpace Netherlands

SILENTIUM RELEASES DIGITAL SINGLE
Silentium has released second single "Dead Silent" from their previous, fourth
long play "Seducia" (2006). Two first songs are new versions from album and
third "My Dark Messenger" serves wholly new composition. Links to download shops

Silentium is in year 1995 found goth / dark metal group. Since releasing "Seducia"
band have visited on live stages as far as Romania, Germany and Portugal. At the

The wait is finally over as "Rise Of The Tyrant", the highly anticipated new
masterpiece by ARCH ENEMY has hit stores all across Europe! The album is already

THE OCEAN to release "Precambrian"
Berlin's THE OCEAN are one of the few bands that stand out because of their
musical depth, seriousness and high artistic standards. THE OCEAN return with an
extensive concept album that is completely unique and demands the listener's
utmost attention.
The double disc "Precambrian" is the soundtrack to the beginning of evolution,
subdivided into two successive geological eons ("Hadean/Archean" and "Proterozoic").
The songs are divided into 5 subordinate eras, with the song titles carrying the
names of subordinate geological periods. Disc 1 features the typical THE OCEAN
brutality while Disc 2 shows the deeper, more emotional side of what the
collective also stands for.
"Precambrian" will be available as a deluxe digipack and was recorded in the
band's own Oceanland studio as well as in Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Los
Angeles and Seattle. Once again the incredible artwork was done by highly

THE ARCANE ORDER - Album done, band lands endorsment with
Tama/Meinl
It's really strange being done with the album. It seems like yesterday we were
still working our asses off in the rehearsal room trying to get the songs ready,
and now here we are with the full album. We spend 3 weeks in the studio only
being home a couple of days, so finally being home again is really great, but
also a bit strange.
Tomorrow is back to work for most of us and everything is
back to normal again. It will be great to be able to breathe for a while until
the promo CD's are ready. One week from now we will have new photos taken and
after this we will finish up the cover and send all the stuff to Metal Blade. We
are still counting on a January release.
We are happy to announce that drummer Morten Løwe is now officially endorsed by
Tama and Meinl. Recognizing Morten as one of the best up-and-coming extreme
metal drummers out there today, they wanted to sign up with Morten and help
promote him and his playing. This means that Morten will be doing drum clinics
in the future in Denmark as well as abroad.
Mortens first drumclinic will be this Saturday the 30th of September in Aarhus,
Denmark at Train, among others alongside Anders Gyldenøhr (ex-HATESPHERE).
Morten will be showing some of his playing and tricks and play to some of the
new THE ARCANE ORDER songs, we just recorded. We will post more drum clinic
dates with Morten as he gets them.
Drum freaks need to check out his playing on our new upcoming record "In The
Wake Of Collisions" - without a doubt his best playing so far! We will have some
video stuff from the studio ready hopefully soon too.

EPHEL DUATH COMMENT ON THEIR RECENT EUROPEAN TOUR
Following the release of 'Pain Remixes The Known' earlier this year, innovative
avant-garde metal band EPHEL DUATH have just returned from another successful
European tour. Commenting on their experiences, Guitarist Davide Tiso reports:
"The Ephel Duath have just returned from the best ever tour: 10000 km through 5
countries. The turnout was great with peaks of welcome in Slovakia where the
interaction between the audience and the band was very special. In Germany we
shared the stage a few times with The Ocean and in Munich we experienced the
most violent moshpit ever.
In Norway we once again had the opportunity to be on together
with the legendary Entombed, the bill also included the norwegian blacksters
1349 with Frost of Satyricon playing the drums. Then a night in Bruxelles with
our friends of the Magasen 4 and two dates in Switzerland before returning to
Italy, ready to start preparing the new album. We would like to thank our fans
for their support at our shows, for being there for us and for purchasing tons
of merchandise. Thanks again and hope to see you all again on the next tour.
