STRAY London Borderline, 12 October 2007
Stray turned the clock back to deliver a blistering set in front of an adoring packed house at London's Borderline.
Stray's back catalogue stretches back to 1970 and the band touched on every album, including such rarities as Around The World in Eighty Days and Run Mister Run.
In Del Bromham the band have one of rock's great guitar players. Del showed his versatility midway through this gig with a short acoustic set, which held the crowd spellbound. Del was joined on stage midway through Georgia by former singer Steve Gadd.
Del and Steve followed this by a moving version of Where Do Our Children Belong, and then Steve sang a rousing version of The Gambler.
After this the band resumed as a three piece. Steve Gadd rejoined the band for the rock anthem, All In Your Mind, Steve clearly now enjoying himself stayed onstage for the encore of Move It.
On the night Stray proved what a lot of people already know, that as a live act not many bands can compete with them.
