PHILPOT Until Hate Writes Better Than Love Toucan Cove Entertainment (2007)

Post punk rock, almost pot brit pop too, adding keyboards to the twin guitars, the opening track really kicks, some nice guitar work. Second track gives us an Ocean Colour Scene like riff, while track 3 gives a rocking Blur kind of feel, bulking up with a prog metal feel.

There's a nod at Bowie in here too, it's actually a really good album if you like guitar music that's a lot fresher, innovative, heavier, melodic than the current fashionable guitar pop bands.

A little retro in feel, but if the music's good and honest who cares?
