THERAPY? Scopophobia
(Eagle Rock/Spitfire Records EREDV357 2003)

Turbo-charged riffs aplenty...

Therapy? Caught live in their hometown in Belfast and what a crackin’ show it must have been! From the excellent new track ‘Hey Satan You Rock’ one of the better tunes of this year, to ‘Diane’ and ‘Die Laughing’. The band really crank up the atmosphere with their turbo charged riffing and Andy Cairn’s punk attitude on vocals. Very good live recording, with the crowd loving every minute of the gig.

Bonus features include eleven of the band’s videos, which is a big plus for any fan and the obligatory band interview. The latter is hardly revealing but fun to watch, although its unlikely you’d watch it more than once or twice. An excellent purchase for the Therapy? Fan in your life!

***** Out of this world | **** Pretty damn fine |
*** OK, approach with caution unless you are a fan |
** Instant bargain bin fodder | * Ugly. Just ugly
