PAUL RAYMOND PROJECT 'Man On A Mission'
Majestic MAJCD055

This 1998 recorded set gets a full release and great it is too. With Raymond taking on vocals, rhythm guitar, bass, keyboards and percussion it really is a Paul Raymond Project.

Some great hard rock songs that are a little more modern than the trad rock UFO, still ranging from ballad to all out rocker. Andy Simmons’ lead guitar is great and at times explosive, and Stefan Kadar does a fine job on drums. Some of the effects and arrangements are a little ‘out there’, but that’s part of the fun.

Phil Mogg guests on vocals on two tracks, and the whole album is tuneful and enjoyable. Different, but more than worth a listen.
