Jon Hansen (venue owner): 'a ferocious but melodic dizzbustin' 3 piece, boasting a dynamite drummer, 2 voracious vocalists, a bazzer of a bassist, and Britain's gut wrenchingly greatest young guitar hero'
Fury UK was formed in 2003 in Manchester, UK. Since that date they've developed an ever-increasing reputation for captivating live performances.inspired by the guitar wizardry of Chris Appleton and a selection of hard rock compositions with the fantastic ingredients of hooks, time changes, key changes, big solos and meaningful lyrics.
A band with riffs, attitude and a bedrock rhythm section to die for.
Influences are best summarised as Iron Maiden - meets - Rush with a hint of Bon Jovi. There's diversity amongst the songs but overall Fury UK is a blend of classic rock and metal, with a progressive and melodic twist.
The band released a debut album in November 2005. My Tomorrow has been well-received by critics and fans alike and was undoubtedly the album the band's fans had been waiting for.
Live performances came thick and fast during 2006 including various headline shows such as Bolton Metal and Oxjam festivals.
With increasing touring, press and radio coverage worldwide, and a follow-up album for release in 2007, the stage is set for Fury UK to explode into the international rock arena in 2007.
The Face Of Adversity album brings together the influences of all three members of the band, when the co-writing developed properly and as well as hard rock riffs and attitude, you get the odd ballad and even an acoustic.
This diversity is an absolute strength for the band. MP3s are streamed from the Fury UK MySpace, together with video (including live footage, recent studio footage and a video interview), photos and a couple of free downloads.
