Ten Questions with...

MICHAEL SCHENKER

A LEGEND - he's played guitar with the SCORPIONS, UFO & MSG plus solo albums & check out the new release 'Endless Jam' - it may be covers but its some of the best guitsr playing you'll here this year.

1. What are you currently up to?

Release a DVD on 27 May I believe, but not on my Web site. It's a Polish company. It's really good. Have just released an album Schenker- Pattison Summit "The Endless Jam".And I am getting ready to do some dates on the West Coast, working on Summer Festivals USA/Europe,a European tour in September or USA.Not sure right now. It's one or the other, recording 2 songs for a Japanese Video game, maybe doing a recording with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and preparing for a new MSG album released on my label GOOTT Records by the end of this year as a 2005 release available only through www.MichaelSchenkerHimself.com with original singers to celebrate 25 years of MSG.

2. What has been the highlight(s) and lowpoints(s) of your career to date?

High lights-The opening of my own company for freedom,my first "Thank You" album, the current MSG line up and the Schenker-Pattison Summit album titled "The Endless Jam". Low points - People disturbing my peaceful life.Stealing, distorting my character, cheating, trying to destroy me.

3. How did the recent UK dates go? (I saw the London show & it was superb night of classic hard rock?

My favorite line up.Concerts are great and fun.

4. Have you ever thought of doing a tour with a setlist with songs chosen by fans, via a website for example?

No, but I might.

5. What is your favourite MSG album and why? And what is your favourite UFO album and why?

I don't have favorite MSG or UFO albums. My fun part is Lead breaks and I have a meaning behind each one of them and therefore I review my music differently than other people may do.Song writing is fun too but the solos are my most fun part.

6. What are your memories of working with the late Cozy Powell?

Cozy had a very strong personality.

7. Any chance of working with Amy Shugar again?

No.

8. What do you think of the MSG fan sites out there? Do you ever visit any?

It was confusing the first time I saw them which was about 7 month ago, when I was trying to get my own web site together and realized that I coulden't even use simply my own name, because it was already taken, but it's nice to see so manny people having fun with it.

9. Message to your fans...

Keep on Rocking. Thanks Michael.
