WIN THE ROCK SCHOOL DVD!

This Autumn has seen the launch of a brand new entertainment TV show with a rock ‘n toll twist – Channel 4’s Rock School has stormed the airwaves and now everyone wants to know – who’s going to make the grade? Will Kiss legend Gene Simmons whip the band into shape in enough time that they can wipe the floor with Motorhead at the ultimate showcase?

All will be revealed at the end of the series, the final episode of which will air on 11 November, after which Rock School fans can re-live all the ups and downs of Christ’s Hospital pupils’ transformation from classically trained scholars to rippin’ it up rock stars, on the official series DVD from EMI. From the joy and disappointment of the auditions, the pressures of writing and recording, to their major debut gig - it’s been a rollercoaster ride and a thrill to watch.

The Extras on the DVD make especially good viewing for Rock School fans – ‘Rock School Diaries’ is a 40 minute sequence of video diaries from Gene Simmons’ hotel room at the end of each day, which is interspersed with the pupils’ own reflections on the experience of a lifetime and the man himself. In addition, Gene fans will particularly enjoy ‘Rock School Revelations’ - anecdotes from the Kiss legend on rock and life, as well as his anecdote-packed Hotel Tour. Also included is an extended version of the hugely entertaining first lesson, and an entertaining meeting of minds in ‘Gene Meets The Deputy Head’.

Rock School has been such a success, that the filming of Series 2 is already underway – so look out for more action next year.
