Traffic drummer tribute show...
In January this year a line up of special guests, including Pete Townsend, Gary Moore, Joe Walsh, Steve Winwood and Paul Weller amongst others, recorded a tribute concert to the late Jim Capaldi.
Hosted by The Old Grey Whistle Test's 'Whispering' Bob Harris the night featured songs by Traffic, as well as solo tracks by Capaldi.
Highlights amongst this 3 hour extravaganza include Paul Weller on 'Paper Sun', Pete Townsend on 'No Face, No Name, No Number' and Joe Walsh with 'John Barleycorn Must Die'.
The package has been well put together with a replica of the evening’s program inside. Sales of the DVD will raise money for The Freedom Trust, which raises money for homeless children in Brazil.
A great tribute to a part of rock history.
