TYTAN Rough Justice Majestic Rock MAJCD082 (62:32) (2006)

This almost supergroup posthumously appeared at the tale end of the NWoBHM, relying more on the more polished and melodic approach.

Formed by Angel Witch bassist Kevin Riddles and drummer Dave Dufort (although Simon Wright would later pass though the ranks), they were eventually joined by AIIZ guitarist Gary Owens.

Opener and single Blind Men And Fools is as solid number as you’ll get from the era on this 1983 recording, taking the Angel Witch roots in a more Magnum / Quartz direction with some excellent vocal harmonies.

This set is also bolstered by 4 radio sessions which make for a strong collection.

Although previously issued on CD, this double disc is bolstered by a DVD of a 1982 recording. Not essential for passing NWoBHM fan, it is to the more ardent collector. The CD, however, is well produced and excellent period metal.
