STORM Storm II Rock Candy CANDY019 (2006)

Storm

Storm's second album, dating from 1983, and it's a bit of an undiscovered masterpiece that really should have made the band.

With Jeanette Chase handling vocals and piano, this four piece were at the heavy end of AOR, definitely catchy; more Heart than Runaway, with the hard end of Toto thrown in too.

'Running With You' is uptempo and raw, while 'Come Home' is a power ballad with a fine vocal performance. 'Anything For Your Love' has a bit of pomp a la Queen!

Well annotated, with five bonus tracks from the band's own vaults.

Well worth checking out.
