RIVERA BOMMA I Am God Mausoleum 251073

Based around vocalist John Bomma and guitarist Rod Rivera, this hard rock / metal new album is heavy and solid on the riffs from the opening chord.

Bomma has the power and range of Ronnie Dio, and is suited well to this sound, mixing trad hard rock with American power metal.

Elements of Priest and Sabbath in the opening title track (an 8 minute epic), it grips and thoroughly pleases. Subtle keyboards add a nod of prog metal.

Virtuoso performances from all make for a great new album. Trad Metal is alive and well.
