IAN NORTH My Girlfriend's Dead Repressed REPEAT2 (2006)

Former Milk'n'Cookies guitarist / songwriter released this synth pop album in 1980. North grew up with the US punk scene, CBGBs and etc, and after a spell in Europe there's an influence of Kraftwork too.

So you get US take on keyboard led new wave that's not quite new romantic but equally spooky.

The album does sound dated but for its period it's good, and with the Rape Of Orchids EP added on as a bonus and a decent booklet, it's very well packaged.
