ERIC GALES Crystal Vision
Provogue PRD7182-2 (2006)

It’s not often to find and African American playing hard rock, left handed with an upside down guitar too, but this CD is worth checking out for a lot more than that.

Mixing elements of funk metal, blues and shred guitar playing, Gales is a good vocalist too.

This four piece are completed by drums, bass and keyboards.

While the guitar work is excellent, it’s a little over done times. Also, the keyboards done really interplay with the guitar, but sit in the background trying to fill the sound.

Overall the music is good, solid, smooth, fluid, strong, but nothing really outstanding.
