DIAMOND DOGS Up The Rock Silodon SMILCD7107 (2006)

As with the single 'Generation Upstart' this is another album of quality rock n roll from The Diamond Dogs. From the opening bars to the final beat, there is not a weak track on this CD. At times you can hear a hint of classic Mott The Hoople, and of course there is the Stones/Faces influences too.

The tracks that stand out most are 'We May Not Have Tomorrow', 'Acting Single', the ballad like 'Where Are You Tonight', and the slower rock n roll - almost soulful, 'If I Ever Fall In Love With You'.

This album is definitely one of my favourites of the year so far, and there are UK dates to be announced, which you can guarantee will be a good night out.
