a legendary session-ist and solo performer STU DAYE. Stu worked with Alice
Cooper and Nils Lofgren in the 1970s and is now resident in the UK.

Albums of the Month

HEART Beautiful Broken (UMC)
Aiming for a seventies feel, they picked songs they’ve wanted to re-do for many
years...it brings a welcome splash of colour to what was a rather monochrome period
in the band’s career. (Pete Whalley) |
|
|
KATATONIA The Fall Of
Hearts (Peaceville)
Despite its intensity, ‘The Fall Of Hearts’ is an engaging
experience, the whole album being shot through with breathtaking
moments of musical and lyrical brilliance...A top, top effort,
the best album of the year so far...
(Alan Jones) |

ROADHOUSE
City Of Decay
(Krossborder)
...places the emphasis firmly on the weight of their
songs, while this superbly produced album captures
both the band’s natural spark and their musical
excellence... ‘City Of Decay’ brings a new
found maturity to an already weighty musical canon. (Pete Feenstra) |

|
LAURENCE JONES Take Me
High
(Ruf)
It’s an adventurous album, full of musical diversity and the band’s road tested
abilities and just like the very best concerts it leaves you wanting more. (Pete
Feenstra) |
