PROGRESSIVE (Nominated by Alan Jones) |
|
MAGENTA We Are Legend
(Tigermoth)
"…Yet another superb album from one of British progressive rock’s finest
exponents...Just the three tracks (how prog is that?) and yet the myriad of
styles and mood-swings keep the listener enthralled throughout.” (Alan Jones) |
|
SINGER SONGWRITER (Nominated by Pete
Whalley) |
|
JUDIE TZUKE Peace Has
Broken Out (Big Moon)
"a very beautiful album that comes from the heart. And you
can’t ask for more than that." (Pete Whalley) |
|
MELODIC ROCK (Nominated by Andy Nathan) |
|
ECLIPSE
Monumentum (Frontiers)
"Eclipse have if anything raised the bar even
higher from their previous trio of top class albums.
If there is any justice, this album will help them
break out of their relatively small, cult market and
give them the ‘big mo’ implied by its title.” (Andy
Nathan) |
|
BLUES ROCK (Nominated by Pete Feenstra) |
|
MARCUS MALONE A Better
Man
(Redline Music)
"He’s a peerless vocalist and a hugely impressive songwriter and also has
the Midas touch as a producer … ‘A Better Man’ is an early year highlight and an
essential purchase for all rock/blues fans.” (Pete Feenstra) |
