I've just bought the latest Wishbone Ash CD "Bona Fide", and it's brilliant. It's a very blues oriented album, and the guitar playing on one of the tracks ("Enigma") is not unlike U2. I'm off to see the band for the first time in St Helens this evening. I've wanted to see them since the late 80s, and I'm really looking forward to this gig.

...just reviewed the Wishbone Ash 'Heritage' set from NMC. It's dance music with Ash guitars! Very bizarre but strangely addictive listening!
Really like their early material and the album you mentioned sounds worth a listen Enjoy the gig! I saw them bak in '89 at the Stafford Gatehouse - great gig and the all original line-up as well.
