Primal Vinyl are pleased to announce the launch of our new vinyl re-issue label, Primal Vinyl Records (PVR). Our aim is to bring vinyl collectors classic and progressive rock albums previously unavailable in vinyl format.
As our first release, Primal Vinyl Records have issued IQ’s 2004 progressive rock masterpiece, Dark Matter, on vinyl for the very first time. The LP has been pressed on 180 gm virgin vinyl and comes in a glorious gatefold sleeve specifically designed by Tony Lythgoe. This is a limited edition run of 1500 copies, and is the first in what we hope will be a series of IQ vinyl re-issues. The release date for IQ – Dark Matter is 28th January 2008.
All Primal Vinyl releases will be available through Plastichead Music Distribution Ltd and can be purchased via our web store at www.primalvinyl.co.uk.
